013 Anything Goes
Educator Magazine was an excellent venue for promoting education reform in the country. The idea was to introduce topics that would help education stakeholders, particularly those on the ground—teachers and principals—better appreciate progressive education and implement what we felt were easy to do, high impact reforms in the school and in the classroom.

For the uninitiated, Pantone 11-0907 TPX is what the education department prescribes for all interior walls of new K-12 school buildings in the country. In lay terms, it’s referred to as Pearled Ivory. I see it as another shade of boring beige.

The Philippines is not a safe place. We really don’t have a safety culture. We don’t see it in our streets. We don’t see it in our homes. We certainly don’t see it in our schools.
