EEP in Makati

RIZAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Makati City

“The topics in the City Savings Bank Project TEACH-Educator Empowerment Program were all pro teachers and learners,” shared Rizal Elementary School teacher Germicilla Roque. “Most of them contributed a lot to their meaningful teaching and learning, applicable across the learning areas, but of course, especially in English, Math and Science.”

With all 175 teachers in Rizal ES enrolled in the program, Teacher Germicilla noted the impact of the program on all teachers as well as their respective students.

“Teachers undeniably performed well inside the classroom, partly because of the lessons learned in the module. The reflection in each topic taken either awakened, re-oriented or refreshed them on what to do before, during or after classes, and drove them intensely to the track of proper lesson delivery,” she explained.

“Inside the classroom, most of the pupils performed well and understood the imparted lessons clearly. Perhaps this could be attributed to the way the lesson was dispensed to them by the teachers. Indeed, the impact of the teachers’ learning was resounding to the learners, not only academically, but also behaviorally,” she added.

As part of its engagement with beneficiary schools like Rizal Elementary School, the Educator Empowerment Program (EEP) provides weekly training to all its teachers throughout the year in all key areas of teaching and learning. Through this effort, partner schools are expected to improve educational services in order to become truly empowered institutions of learning.

As a beneficiary school of City Savings Bank under its Project TEACH initiative, Rizal Elementary School is a proud partner of the EEP.

“Our dear school, Rizal Elementary School, is very much indebted to City Savings Bank for bringing their teacher empowerment program to our institution,” Teacher Germicilla concluded.
